Good News: Christmas is almost here!Bad News: It's still two weeks away...This Third Sunday of Advent - Gaudete Sunday - is all about rejoicing, but what is it we're rejoicing about? In this week's episode, we reflect on Cardinal Dolan's Sunday Homily where he reminds us that with Good News comes bad news. Rejoicing in the coming of Christ at Christmas necessitates the admission that he is coming to save us from something or that we need saving at all in the first place. Make the most of these last two weeks of Advent to reflect on this profound truth and be sure to make a good Confession before the celebration of Christmas!

Throughout this entire month of December, and this entire season of Advent, everything we do is geared towards a child - Jesus, the Christ child. As we enter into the second week of Advent, are we embracing the challenge of this season to truly allow Jesus to come into our lives and save us? The temptation is always to jump right to Christmas celebrations, but we first need to put in the work!

Izzy joins the show as we reflect on our call to holiness, our celebration of All Saints Day, and how Zacchaeus shows us how to seek out - and welcome - the Lord.
Ashley is back for our sports segment and goes on an epic Heat rant!
Enjoy the trick or treating festivities tonight and come to Mass tomorrow! All children are invited to attend the 7:00pm Mass dressed as their favorite saint.

This weekend we celebrated World Mission Sunday and Fr. Manny and Jorge reflect on their missionary experiences to Southern Mexico (Fr. Manny) and the Virginia Migrant Farms (Jorge), particularly in how those experiences brought to life the wisdom of Scripture from this weekend: "The Prayer of the lowly pierces the clouds" and Jesus' parable of the prayers of Pharisee and the Tax Collector. How are you - or how can you be - a missionary disciple?
In sports, we revisit our early-season World Series picks, the Dolphins hang on this weekend, the Hurricanes... oh, the Hurricanes...
